5/19/25. This sweet senior SERGIO is looking for his furever foster/adopter and a soft place to land. He recently came back to us after being in foster care, but due to unforeseen circumstances (his foster lost her home), he had to come back to us. He was very shy when he first came to us, but now that he has come out of his shell more, he looks forward to coming out of his kennel and spending time with the volunteers. He enjoys affection and waits quietly in his kennel till it's his turn to come out. He holds up his paw when he sees you, letting you know he wants to come up. He is dog selective but seems to like the ladies and other calm dogs around the rescue. He will make a great companion for a senior or someone looking for a calm, quiet dog and is willing to be patient with him to make him feel secure and loved. He is a sweet senior and a good boy that deserves a comfy spot to spend his golden years.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL.
