5/2/25. Ivan 10y old is a special boy; he came to me at 7 months old when my daughter suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. I have PTSD and had him trained at that time to be my service dog. He is, of course, retired now but did a really good job while he was working. He still has his vest and understands what it means. He is good around people and other dogs, crate trained, and likes to sleep on the bed. He does seem to despise squirrels and will chase them if on a lead in the backyard or at the park. Ivan loves to play in water but refuses to swim in it. He’s handsome and a big baby. He is overly distraught if hurt in any way and loves being cared for and wrapped in band-aids. I’m no longer able to care for him and am truly looking out for his best interest and a loving transition to a better situation.
