8/5/25. Just a little update on Zeus, who is now called Indie! He’s thriving in his foster home. He did pick up some kennel cough from the shelter, but he’s on medication for that. We’re also giving him medicated baths to help with his skin.

As for his weight, he was 54.7 lbs on 7/31/25 and 55.2 lbs on 8/4/25.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
