10/6/25. UPDATE ON GRIM 10/06/25 We took him to the vet today. He’s dealing with bilateral entropion in both eyes along with a few medications: Apoquel, Cefalexin, and medicated shampoo, plus some eye drops. And on top of that, he has really severe periodontal disease and will need to be neutered. It’s tough to see him like this because he’s such a sweet boy, despite everything going wrong. So, here’s a little backstory. We got a surrender for Grim, born on 09/02/22, in mid-August and then got another one just this month. We received a bunch of lovely pictures, but when we met him in person, oh man, it was hard to hold back my emotions in the lobby. He looks like a completely different dog; this poor baby is in rough shape. His skin is in terrible condition, probably on fire from irritation. We know he has food allergies, but this is just next-level. He can’t stop scratching. One of the first things we did was give him a medicated bath, clean his ears, and trim his nails—they were as long as my finger! Thank goodness he’s finally getting the help he so desperately needs. Welcome to a new chapter, sweet boy. You really deserve it. More about Grim 3474Good with Dogs, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Obedient
